This week on A Prairie Home Companion we're bringing you a live performance spectacle, a talent show for twenty-something troubadours, where six entrants will compete for the coveted silver water tower trophy, also known as the Wobegon Idol. This year's contestants are:

The Honey Dewdrops ; Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish from Scottsville, Virginia
Singer-Songwriter Ashley Monroe from Nashville, Tennessee
Pinky Lee ; Jenny Bousquet and Holly Keller from Petoskey, Michigan
Singer-songwriter Andrew Ryan from Boise, Idaho
Vocal Duo Mattie Speece and Patrick Villines from Ponca, Arkansas
